Warranty & important notice
Before your first ride, please read the manual supplied with your bike. It contains safety information and guidance on assembly, use and maintenance. Keep your order confirmation as your proof of purchase.
We strongly recommend that your bike is assembled or checked by a qualified bicycle mechanic before its first ride. A full inspection helps ensure a safe ride. Any damage caused by incorrect assembly is the responsibility of the customer, not VOOLM.
What the warranty covers
VOOLM warrants each e-bike against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, for the periods set out below.
Where a part is found to be defective, we usually replace it rather than repair it, to reduce your waiting time. For a confirmed manufacturing defect, replacement parts are supplied and delivered to you at no cost, in line with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Who and where is covered
This warranty applies to VOOLM e-bikes bought new from voolm.com and delivered to a UK mainland address.
It covers the original owner only. Bikes that are resold or transferred, or bought second-hand or from unauthorised sellers, are not covered.
Warranty period
The warranty period begins on the date you receive your bike.

About the battery. The battery is treated as a consumable by the manufacturer and is covered against manufacturing defects for 30 days from delivery. Genuine replacement batteries and parts are available to purchase from VOOLM, so your bike stays usable for years rather than becoming obsolete.
What is not covered
- Improper assembly or installation.
- Collision, negligence, improper repair, or abnormal, excessive or improper use.
- Corrosion.
- Modification or fitting of non-original or incompatible parts, or failure to maintain the bike as set out in the manual.
- Normal wear and tear (see below).
Wear and tear
Wear and tear is the natural result of normal riding and is not covered beyond the periods above. A non-exhaustive list of wear items: tyres, brake pads, brake lines, disc brakes, chain, bearings, handlebar grips, cables and housings, spokes, and bolts. Over time your bike may develop minor noises or need adjustment; this usually indicates routine maintenance is due.
Damage in transit
Please inspect your bike on delivery. If it arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours with clear photos or video, keeping all original packaging. We will resolve or replace the affected part from UK stock.
If you arrange your own courier or shipping, VOOLM is not responsible for any damage caused in transit.
How to obtain warranty service
Email contact@voolm.com with your order number, a short description of the issue, and photo or video evidence. Our team will assess the fault. If it is approved under this warranty, we supply the replacement part free of charge; you cover the delivery cost of that part.
Support is available Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm.
Your statutory rights
This warranty is a commercial guarantee given in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and does not affect them. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
